About The League

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE. The League prides itself as to being open and flexible and ready through the Executive Committee to take on most matters raised. However, the increasing number of complaints from parents and other touch-line "pundits" direct to the Executive Committee appears to be growing at an alarming rate. As none of these follow the correct procedure for complaints and do not come with the £15 protest deposit they are not being dealt with. Please remind managers and other people involved of the correct procedure as in Rule 15 (d), which reads as follows ; RULE (d) No protest of whatever kind shall be considered by the Executive Committee unless the complaining Club shall have deposited the amount as shown in the Schedule with the League Secretary. This may be forfeited in whole or in part to the funds of the League in the event of the complaining or protesting Club losing its case. The Competition shall have the power to order the defaulting Club or the Club making a losing or frivolous protest or complaint to pay the expenses of the enquiry or to order that the costs be shared by the parties. Please note that for this rule we interpret Club as being Club secretary or some like positioned official.
